Accountants love codes.  Whether it’s the tax code or codes to fill out forms for our clients.  One code that can come in handy is the good old bread tie code.

Did you know that the color of the twisty tie can generally point to the day the bread was made?  Each color is a different day.  Blue is Monday, Green is Tuesday, Red is Thursday, White is Friday and Yellow is Saturday.  Bakeries are often closed on Sunday and Wednesday, so those days don’t have colors.  Your particular bakery might have a different pattern, but the idea still holds!  And now you know the code!

At GLO we scour the tax code to get you every deduction you’re entitled to.
