The IRS is providing disaster tax relief to victims of the New Mexico wildfires and straight-line winds that began April 5. The tax agency announced that the relief applies to taxpayers who live or have a business in Colfax, Lincoln, Mora, San Miguel and Valencia counties. Affected taxpayers will now have until August 31, 2022, to file various individual and business tax returns and to make tax payments. Contact us for assistance.
