Scam alert for Texas taxpayers. The Texas Comptroller’s Office is alerting taxpayers that scam artists are sending out fraudulent statements, purporting to be from that office. If you receive suspicious correspondence that claims to be from the Texas Comptroller’s Office, you may be able to help the office stop fraud by notifying them by email here: stop.spoofing@cpa.texas.gov or contact us with questions.
